• Two appointments are required: Visa Interview and OFC.
• OFC appointment must be at least 1 day before the visa interview.
• Personal presence is mandatory for both appointments.
• Two recent passport-size photographs, 50 mm x 50 mm, with approximately 80% face coverage and white background.
• Covering letter on company letterhead mentioning applicant's name, designation, passport number, duration and purpose of visit, and details of who will bear the expenses.
• Covering letter should be addressed to the Consulate General of USA, Kolkata.
• Invitation letter from the American host/inviting company mentioning purpose and duration of visit, duly signed with name and designation.
• Financial documents:
  • Company/Personal Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years.
  • Original salary slips for the last 6 months.
  • Company/Personal bank statements for the last 3 months with bank name and telephone number.
  • Credit card / Foreign Exchange / Traveller's Cheques, if applicable.
  • Balance sheet.
  • Property documents / Fixed Deposits / Investments, if applicable.
• Proof of occupation:
  • Company registration/incorporation documents.
  • Company profile.
  • Articles of Association, if the applicant is a Managing Director/Director.
  • Proprietorship/Partnership proof, if applicable.
  • Import/Export documents, if applicable.
• Airline reservation.
• Personal appearance is mandatory.

Climate:
