Business Visa

Visa Notes and Requirements

• Passport: Original passport valid for a minimum of six months.
• Attach copies of the first and last two pages of the passport.
• Attach copies of travelled and valid visa pages.
• Attach all old passports.
• DVPC Visa Application Form: The application form must be duly completed and signed by the applicant.
• Photograph: One recent passport-size photograph with a matte or semi-matte finish, 60%–80% face coverage, a white background, and no border. Size: 4.3 cm × 5.5 cm.
• The photograph must not be more than three months old, scanned, stapled, or previously used for another visa.
• Ticket: Confirmed return air ticket issued by Emirates only.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must qualify under one of the following criteria for a UAE visa application:

1. Invitation Letter: An invitation letter from the host company in the UAE is required if the applicant has travelled at least once in the last five years, or holds a valid visa for countries such as the USA, UK, Schengen countries, the European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Canada, or Japan and can provide evidence of travel.
2. Financial Documents: Applicants who do not meet the above criteria must submit:
   • Form 16 or the original and a copy of the last two years' Income Tax Returns (ITR), or proof of investments amounting to INR 5 lakh or above in fixed deposits with banks or post offices.
   • Salary slips for the last six months.

Additional Requirements

• NOC: Female applicants and students above 18 years travelling alone must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parents or husband, along with the relevant photo ID and a copy of the host's passport and residence visa, as specified in the source requirements.
• Applicants over 60 years: Evidence of medical insurance covering the entire stay is required.
• Applicants under 18 years: A copy of the accompanying person's passport and visa, along with the applicant's birth certificate, must be submitted.
• Certain nationals may obtain a visa on arrival and may not need prior visa arrangements. Refer to the UAE Visa on Arrival information for the applicable list.
• These requirements apply to company professionals and business merchants travelling to the UAE for a short business trip of a maximum of 14 days.
• If the spouse's name is not endorsed on the passport, a marriage certificate or a notarised affidavit on INR 100 stamp paper is required.
• Newly married couples travelling immediately after marriage must submit an NOC from their parents with photo ID proof, a wedding card, and a marriage photograph.
• A copy of the applicant's PAN card is mandatory.

Climate

The northern third of Australia lies in the tropics and is warm or hot throughout the year. The rest of the country lies south of the tropics and has warm summers and mild or cool winters. In winter, many parts of the south experience occasional frosts. The Australian Alps and the interior of Tasmania are the only areas where temperatures remain below freezing for more than a day or so at a time.
