Visa Notes & Fees
 Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum 6-9 months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping.
Please Note:
a) Attach copy of bio data pages of passports.
b) Attach all your old passports (if any)
c) Handwritten passports and passports with any manual observations will not be accepted.
d) Passport issued beyond 10 years will not be accepted.
 Uganda Visa Application Form : Two visa application forms duly filled and signed.
 Photo Specification: Two recent passport size color photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).
Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.
 Covering Letter : Covering-letter on company’s letter head mentioning the name of the applicant, designation, passport number, purpose of visit and duration of visit. The letter should also state the period of employment, leaves granted, nature of business and companies to be visited in Uganda. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, Uganda High Commission, New Delhi.
 Invitation Letter: Invitation Letter from Uganda host / inviting Company on its letter head(should be in color)stating the purpose of travel and duration of stay and should be duly signed with signatory’s name and designation. The letter should also have the telephone/fax number of the Inviting person. Invitation letter should be faxed OR mail to Uganda High Commission Delhi. An approval letter from the immigration directorate, Government of Uganda.
Ticket: Confirmed Return Air Ticket
 Accommodation Proof: Hotel Booking confirmation copy.
Medical: Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) has to be submitted along with the visa application & applicant has to carry the same at the time of travel.
 Financials :
a) Original Company and Personal Bank Statement for last six months with minimum balance equivalent to INR 1,00,000

Please Note:
a) Covering-Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed.
b) A letter from the employer stating the designation of the applicant and leaves dates granted. The same goes for self employed business people.
 If visiting relatives / friends- copies of passport, work permit copy, proof of residence in Uganda should accompany the application form.
 Hotel Confirmation: Hotel Booking receipt from Uganda has to be directly faxed to the Embassy and one copy to us.
 Ticket: Confirmed return air ticket.
 Medical: Original YFC (Yellow Fever Certificate) has to be submitted along with the visa application & applicant has to carry the same at the time of travel.

Please Note : The Kenya Embassy also issues a combined East Africa Tourist Visa which will be valid for 3 African Countries (Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda). Kindly refer Kenya's tourist checklist for combined East Africa Tourist Visa.
Minors (Under 16 years old)
a) Who are endorsed in parent's passport will also require 2 photographs.
b) Who are not traveling with parents will require consent in writing from the parents.
