Passport Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. Attach all your old passports, if any.
Tanzania Visa Application Form Two visa application forms duly filled and signed. Click on the following link to download the form: tz_visa_app_form_new.

Note: Download the Visa Application Form. The form should be typed as a manually filled form will not be accepted by the High Commission. Applicant must take the printout of the filled form and sign it manually.
Please use CAPITAL LETTERS to fill the form.
Photo Specification Two recent passport-size color photographs with matt or semi-matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border. Size: 35mm x 45mm.

Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, should not be scanned/stapled and should not have been used in any previous visas.
Covering Letter Covering letter from applicant on company letterhead mentioning the name, designation, passport number, purpose and duration of visit. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, High Commission of United Republic of Tanzania, New Delhi.
Invitation Letter Invitation Letter from Tanzanian host / inviting Company on its letterhead stating the purpose of travel and duration of stay and should be duly signed with signatory's name and designation.
Ticket Return Air Ticket
Medical Yellow Fever Certificate required at the time of travel.
Important Note Issuance of multiple entry has been discontinued by the High Commission of United Republic of Tanzania, New Delhi.

Embassy may ask for any additional documents.

Ticket Confirmed one way Ticket.
Medical Yellow Fever Certificate is required at the time of travel.
Important Note Indian Nationals can avail 3 months short term work permit visa (CTA - Conducting Temporary Assignment) upon arrival for Tanzania and fees for same will be $ 200.
