Document / Requirement Details
Passport Valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of travel. Submit photocopies of the first and last pages of the passport and the observation page, if any.
Application Form Visa application form duly filled in and signed by the applicant.
Photographs Two recent passport-size colour photographs.
Covering Letter Covering letter addressed to The Visa Officer, High Commission of Sri Lanka, stating the applicant's name, designation, purpose and duration of stay.
Approval from Immigration Ministry Approval from the Immigration Ministry of Sri Lanka should be faxed directly to the Embassy / Consulate.
Work Permit / Contract Letter Work Permit or Contract Letter must be submitted.

Passport Clear scanned copy of the first, last and observation page of the passport. The validity of the passport should be minimum six months.
Airline Reservation Ticket itinerary / airline reservation.
Hotel Booking Confirmed hotel booking.
Invitation Letter Copy of invitation letter from the inviting company if applying for Business Visa ETA.
