Mauritius Visa Information

Business

Visa Notes & Fees

Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. Attach all your old passports (if any).

Mauritius Visa Application Form: Two visa application forms duly filled and signed. Photocopy can be used.

Photo Specification: Two recent passport size photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm).

Please Note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old, scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

Covering Letter: Covering Letter from the applicant on company's letter head stating applicant's name, designation, passport number, purpose and duration of visit. Letter to be addressed to: The Visa Officer, Mauritius High Commission, New Delhi.

Invitation Letter: Original Invitation Letter from Mauritian host / inviting Company on its letter head stating the purpose of travel and duration of stay and should be duly signed with signatory's name and designation.

Financials:

  • Forex Exchange duly endorsed along with the Forex Receipts.
  • Original International Credit Card statement / Foreign Exchange endorsement / Traveler's Cheque.

Ticket: Confirmed Air Ticket.

Authorization Letter: Applicant will have to submit an authorization letter on company's letterhead addressed to "Mauritius High Commission" authorizing "Insight Visa Consultancy" to submit and collect documents.

NOTE: Indian Nationals traveling to Mauritius for tourist or business purposes will be granted a 60 day visa on arrival provided that they have a valid return ticket.

Please Note: Covering Letter on Letterhead if applicant is Self Employed or on plain paper if Employed.

Financials:

  • Sufficient Forex Exchange for the stay.
  • Original International Credit Card statement / Foreign Exchange endorsement / Traveler's Cheque.

Ticket: Confirmed Air Ticket along with the detailed tour itinerary.

Proof of Accommodation: Hotel confirmation.

Work Permit: Work permit will be arranged by the Employer through "Passport and Immigration Office" and the "Ministry of Environment, Human Resource Development and Employment" in Mauritius. The original copy should be sent to the Applicant.

Certificates:

  • Applicant to produce documentary evidence of family relationship, if accompanied by family or any dependent i.e. birth and marriage certificates.
  • Applicant's children, who have attained the age of 18 years, should apply for residence permit separately with sponsoring letter from parents.

Ticket: Confirmed One way Air Ticket.

Climate
