Visa Notes & Fees

Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum three months (from the date of return) and minimum two blank pages for visa stamping.

Please note:

• Passports issued beyond 10 years will not be accepted by the Embassy
• Handwritten passports will not be accepted.
• Copy of Last 2 Schengen Visa’s if applicable.
• Attach all your old passports (if any)

Schengen Visa Application Form: One visa application form, printed back to back, duly filled and signed. Refer to Signatures on Czech Visa Application Form

Photo Specification: Two recent passport size colored photographs with matt or semi matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm)

Please note: Photograph should not be more than 3 months old , scanned/stapled and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

Covering Letter: Covering Letter from applicant on company’s letter head stating his name, designation, passport number, purpose and duration of the visit duly signed by authorized signatory with company stamp and addressed to– The Visa Officer, Embassy of Czech Republic, New Delhi

Invitation Letter: Copy of invitation Letter from Czech host / inviting Company on its letter head stating the purpose of travel and duration of stay and should be duly signed with signatory’s name and designation or an original Czech immigration police verified invitation (Pozvani) from inviting company or institution of the Czech republic.

Airline Reservation: Ticket Itinerary

Medical: Travel medical insurance valid for all Schengen-countries .The insurance has to cover the applicant for at least 30,000 Euros or equivalent, for all risks e.g. accident, illness, medical emergency evacuation etc. The policy has to clearly specify the period of validity and has to cover the entire duration of the trip including the date of arrival and departure.

Financials

• Company’s and Personal ITR.
• Three months salary slip.
• Original Personal bank account statement (proof of sufficient financial means) of last three months with Original Seal and Sign from Bank. If someone is sponsoring the Trip then a affidavit is required for sponsorship along with his Bank Statement and National ID Proof Copy which has signature in it. E.G:- PAN Card, Note: Bank statement should be on A4 size paper.
• Credit Card copy/Foreign Exchange endorsement/Traveler’s Cheque

Proof of Occupation

• Company Registration Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation.
• Brief Company Profile.
• Articles of Memorandum (Incase the applicant is MD/Director).
• Proof of Proprietorship / Partnership (In case applicant is Proprietor / Partner in a firm).
• Import / Export License (if applicable)

Proof of Accommodation: Hotel confirmation for the entire period of stay. Hotel should match the ticket dates and maximum stay should be in Czech Republic.

Authorization Letter: Applicant will have to submit an authorization letter authorizing Insight Visa Consultancy to submit documents.

Passport Collection Process, Embassy has announced that representatives cannot collect the documents on behalf of applicant from Czech Republic Visa Application Centres except in following conditions :

• Immediate family member (that is Parents, Children, Spouse)
• One member of a family group collecting the passports of the whole family.
• A person collecting on behalf of Government officials if authorized on the Government letter head or department.

If any of the above comes for passport collection they need to carry the following documents:

• Original Government ID card
• Original ICR
• Original authorization letter from applicant

However, applicants who do not wish to collect their documents in person & whose documents cannot be collected by one of the above, will get their passports back by courier at an additional cost of Rs. 300/- to the dispatch address mentioned in the courier form & Covering Letter which has to be submitted along with the visa application.

Processing Time: Processing time for short term Czech Republic visa application is 10 working days. Please note that this is an indicative processing time only. Processing time may increase or decrease at the discretion of the Embassy of Czech Republic. Further to that, applications with the date of departure earlier than 8 calendar days (including Saturday and Sunday) after the date of submission will not be accepted.

New Procedure for Schengen Visa Applications: With immediate effect, Indian citizens travelling to Schengen countries for short-term (max 90 days in 180 days) will have to visit VFS visa application centre personally to provide biometric data (fingerprints and digital photograph). For subsequent applications within next 5 years the biometric data will be copied from the previous visa application included in the VIS.

Ticket: Confirmed ticket reservation with all flights confirmed proving the transit port of entry is Czech Republic

• Original and Notarised work permit issued by the Employment Administrative office (notarized) by a czech
• Original and Notarized work contract or appointment letter.

Police clearance certificate from the country of residence attested fro MEA and translated in Czech Language

Financials

• Personal Bank Statement for last six months mentioning the applicant name and address and translated in Czech language, Note : Bank statement should be on A4 size paper with seal and signature.
• Debit/ Credit Card copy

Proof of Accomodation

• Document confirming the availability of accommodation for the period of stay in the territory of the Czech Republic
